Your choice

Accept allows optional measurement, including Meta tracking when configured and enabled. Decline keeps optional tracking disabled. Neither choice blocks browsing, signing in, checkout or payment. No decision means optional tracking stays disabled. Necessary functionality and first-party referral attribution continue independently.

Your current choice: Not chosen. Your choice is saved for 90 days. Older category-specific choices remain respected until you change them or they expire.

Changing your choice returns you to the home page. Withdrawal stops future consent-gated browser tracking; it does not erase previously delivered events or change consent evidence already captured for a purchase.

Necessary and business-functional storage

rivosim_session (or the configured session name)

First-party PHP session for authentication, security/CSRF, cart and transaction-related state. The name can be configured through SESSION_NAME. Browser lifetime and session cleanup depend on hosting PHP configuration; this application does not set a fixed session-cookie duration.

rivosim_ref

Signed first-party affiliate referral attribution. Duration follows the Admin-configured referral-cookie setting (application fallback: 60 days). Referral attribution does not require optional consent and is not removed or changed by Decline.

rivosim_vid

First-party visitor identifier used by affiliate click/conversion attribution. The application sets a 365-day expiry. It is independent of optional tracking consent.

rivosim_advertising_consent

First-party decision cookie, stored for 90 days. The existing v2 value retains analytics and advertising flags and expiry; Accept enables both flags, Decline disables both. Necessary functionality remains enabled. The cookie is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and Secure on HTTPS.

rivosim:cart:v1 (localStorage)

Remembers selected cart items. No fixed time-based expiry is set in application code; cart contents are updated or cleared by existing cart/payment behavior, or by clearing browser storage.

rivosim.admin.sidebarRail (localStorage)

Remembers Admin sidebar appearance on Admin pages; no fixed application expiry. It is not public advertising tracking.

Optional Meta measurement

When enabled and consented, Meta Pixel asynchronously measures PageView on explicitly allowed public browsing pages. It is excluded from sensitive payment, bearer-token, authentication and portal pages. Meta may create browser identifiers such as _fbp and _fbc; this application does not directly set them or define their provider-controlled lifetime.

Eligible direct consumer purchases can also be measured server-side through a background Conversions API worker using consent captured for that purchase. Matching data can include hashed email, visitor IP/user agent and valid Meta browser identifiers where available. Payment fees are excluded from conversion value. Ask-a-Friend, top-ups, Agency, Partner and manual/imported transactions are excluded by the existing implementation.

No separate analytics provider is connected in the audited implementation. The analytics flag remains for compatibility; accepting it alone does not install a provider.

Other third-party services and retention

Configured Google reCAPTCHA can load for security. Payment-provider pages may use their own cookies outside rivoSIM. Their cookie names and durations are not defined by this repository. Administrators can also configure additional head HTML; provider behavior added that way requires a separate live-site review.

First-party cookies are set for rivoSIM; external providers control their own technologies. Browser settings let you inspect or remove cookies and localStorage. Removing the decision cookie brings back the consent prompt on eligible pages. Blocking necessary storage can affect sign-in, cart or security functionality.

Cookie expiry is not the retention period for server-side orders, attribution records or captured tracking context. This repository does not establish a universal retention period for those records. For questions about privacy or storage, contact rivoSIM.
